Did you know what a space filler is? Well you are looking at it. I have no story to go with the photographs, I don't know what they are doing and I don't know where I am going with this. Last Thursday when we went to Baltimore to watch the Orioles we came across these Baltimore City firefighters in the park as we were headed to our seats. I have no idea why they were there and I knew better than to ask, more often than not you get a look or an attitude. When a firefighter goes to a call he is working just like the bank Teller, plumber, mechanic or corporate executive. He like those workers likes to be able to do his job without being bothered. When everything is said and down they become much more approachable. I ran out of gibberish, so as a wise man once said "That's all I have to say about that."

I assume E23 is still out of Steadman Station?? Are there any other firehouses close to the harbor besides them?
Well looking at the first page, they most be Truckies. You ask why, they are waiting outside the fire room until the boys on the engine make it safe for them to enter. Just joking....
The truck crossed Russell Street behind us. We wondered for about a minute what was going on, then the "Yard" took our thoughts elsewhere.
