Montana Sky Watch...

Welcome to another great week of Sky Watch Friday, don't forget to go to the sky watch site and visit all the other great post today.

Today's photograph comes from Montana in the area of Glacier National Park. I would like to be able to tell you exactly where I took the photograph but I don't know. I just know we were very close and it was extremely windy and very cold. Some days I am at a loss for words an today is one of those, so that is all for now.

Hi Brad,
An excellent sky watch photo. I'm sorry I haven't visited for awhile, but too much traveling to Virginia I guess. I enjoyed catching up on your blog. I always like to see the bucks chasing the does and it's always exciting to encounter a flock of turkeys.

Great photo.

When my non-photographic friends like a shot, their highest praise is "Wow, you should put that on a calendar!"

You should put that on a calendar. ;o)

Have a great weekend,
Troy

Very clever catching that rainbow.

I forgot to ask, Do you have a large format printer?

This needs printing at least 12x16.

Brad: That photo is a real winner even without the rainbow. What a special place to capture the sky.

I simply love rainbows! They are ,as I said last week, signs of hope.

A rainbow is on my list of things to capture. And Fishing Guy is right - even without the rainbow, this shot would have been stunning. Fantastic share.

How lucky were you to spy that beautiful rainbow, nature sure does some wonderful things and we need to be paying attention to appreciate them.

Thanks for sharing with everyone in sky watch friday and your kind comments on my post earlier.

Brad, this is a splendid and very romantic photo. Much more important that you capture it than being able to say exactly where.

Love the rainbow. We don't have many around here, too much drought. They are once in a blue moon.

With it, magical.

This is just amazing view. Without the rainbow it's wonderful but with it just extra ordinary and so touching. I love water with mountais, so I guess you can understand how much I like this photo! Thanks for sharing!

Well, if it's Glacier, it looks like Lake MacDonald to me... You really caught the rainbow well...

Rune Eide said...

A picture of a rainbow is enough

Brad Myers said...

Thank you all again this week for the great comments. It was another great Sky Watch Friday.

Aphotoaday, it is not lake MacDonald, the photo was taken outside of Glacier coming in from the southwest.
