June 2007 over 20 kids participated in the West End Fire and Rescue Company's 10Th annual Child's Dream weekend.As a child I also dreamed of being a fireman when I became an adult. I fulfilled those dreams and have never regretted it. Six years ago this day 343 FDNY fireman gave their lives so that many others may live. Those men and women make us all proud to wear the blue uniform.
On this sixth anniversary please remember the firefighters that gave their lives that day and the men and women in the armed forces and emergency services that continue everyday to insure your freedom and safety.
