Cricket Anyone

Today's post comes from Washingtonburg again. My family had the opportunity to play a game of Cricket. In the center photograph Shane makes contact with the ball and in the last shot Linda is about to hit the ball while Shane (holding the bat) gets ready to run. They both did a good job and had lots of fun.

Cricket is a team sport played by two teams of 11 players each, and is similar to baseball. A game can last from a few hours to several days. Rules of the game and additional information can be found at http://www.cs.purdue.edu/homes/hosking/cricket/explanation.htm
