Spiders...

I mentioned last week that Shane and I visited the Conowingo Dam with no luck. While waiting for the eagles to fly (they never did) we noticed these spiders and decided to get a few shutter releases in any ways. Now I do not own a macro lens so these were taken with my D300 with the 70-200 F2.8 lens with the Nikkor 1.4 tele converter still attached. I just got back as far as was needed and zoomed in until I was able to focus on the spiders. The I had to tightly crop when post processing. There I promised the occasional break from elk and whitetails.

It is Tuesday again already so visit Shane's blog for a new post, he has dipped into his SNP whitetail photos. It makes it easier for me to post something else today and still get a wildlife fix.
