A couple more from the Armed Forces Day event at the Army Heritage Center in Carlisle this past May. These guys are a couple of the World War 1 soldiers, U.S. and French.
Not to be pickey but the first shot is WWII vintage. In the middle of WWII they changed to the steel pot and helment liners. Earlier in the war they wore the Old WWI round helments that had the small brim that went the whole way around the helment. Kind of like the old round CD helments we used to carry on the Squad!

Really like the Armed Forces Day shots.
The first shot is ironic. A peace sign and the accouterments of war. Makes for a good photo.

Keep posting the great Armed Forces pictures.
