More Skywatch Alaska...

It is skywatch Friday again. I want to thank everyone that stopped by last week and left the great comments. Because of time and weather I have not had the chance to get out and shoot anything lately so I have to keep going back to older photos. This one comes from Alaska again, if I remember correctly is was taken at Portage, further down the turnagain arm from the photo last week.

Don't forget to click the link on the left to see more great skies from all over the world. And a big thanks again to the staff of Skywatch Friday for putting together such a great program. Maybe when I retire I will find the time to do other ones like My world Tuesday and Camera Critters Saturday.

I hope to take an Alaskan cruise one day to see some of these lovely landscapes with my own eyes. I only hope the icebergs are not melted away by then.

With this image, I feel my Alaska cruise was just yesterday and not a year ago. Thanks for the wonderful reminder.

That's a beautiful shot. I like the way the snow top and sky sort of blend together.

It looks like Portage! Turnagain arm is indeed scenic. It's hard to get a bad shot in Alaska!

Hi Bradley! This photo makes me wanting to go to Alaska. I always feel attracted to the Arctic areas.
Thanks for your visit. Have a great SWF!

Iceberg looks tiny. Due the climate change perhaps? Or then the mountain is huge, looks like it's all the way to heaven. And it kinda is. Great scenery, great pic! Happy SWF!!

Very bleak looking. I loved my trips to Alaska, but pretty cold, even in summer.
