As I said earlier in the week Shane and I got to do allot of shooting this past weekend, that will give me a chance to mix things up on here for a change. Today's photos are from the Joint Service Armed Forces Day and Air Show event at Andrews Air Force base in Maryland. The weather could have been better but at least the rain stopped in the morning. It was chilly and the skies remained grey and cloudy, a blue sky with fluffy clouds would have been great but it wasn't meant to be.
I will say now that I do not know one jet or plane from another so I will not attempt to identify any of the aircraft. The top photo was taken inside a large military cargo jet and yes that is Shane on the left. All my photos of the air show (flying) were shot with the 70-200 lens.

I don't know the second aircraft, but the first one is the flight deck of the C-17 Cargo aircraft. And Shane is sitting the the pilot's. The pilot sits on the left and the co-pilot sits on the right.
I love that "oracle' red plane. At shutter speed of 1/1600 second, you freezed the plane and propellers.
Beautiful!
Air shows are always fun. Love the cockpit view, including the field. Blue Skies.
