This is one of the many house wrens we have nesting around our house. This one had a nest of little ones in a gourd bird house in our red bud tree. These guys are fun to watch and listen to except for 4 in the morning when we are trying to sleep.
I have had wrens nesting in a bluebird box attached to a deck support on the back of my house. Now we frequently have the young birds hopping around on the edges of the deck. I love watching them but they seldom sit in one place for more than a few seconds.
