Yep, more Pennsylvania Elk. These photos were taken the same time as yesterdays at Hick's Run. You should recognize ugly Elk from yesterday and the other one must be his running mate. All three times I seen these guys they were both together.
I hope you don't get bored with wildlife photos from my trip, I have many more ready to post. I plan to mix a few other shots in with photo opportunities coming up at Bristol, the burning of Shiremanstown, the Granger's, Market at Washington, Carlisle and the Cumberland County convention parade. I am also getting the chance to make the trip west again this year with Brian to photograph the landscape and wildlife. So with any luck I will have plenty to work with in the future.

Hey bradley, like the pictures. I guess i made a mistake typing or something i have a d40.
hAHAHA
There used to be a lot of those bulls with deformed antlers, but then The PGC veterinarian either shot, or had a worker shoot them and test them for brain worm ,as he thought that may be the cause of the deformity. I hadn't seen one like that in awhile, but it looks like the strain is still surviving. It makes me think it may be a genetic thing.
I can't recall if the shot elk tested positive or not, but I don't think so.
Thanks for the information Willard, I thought you would know him and give us a name or number. I seen him two of three days in the field at Hick's Run viewing area with the other bull. I have not studied the habits of Elk like some wildlife to know if that would be the best place to find him again, but I am sure you know there habits well enough if you are looking for him.
