Skywatch Alaska...

It has been a few weeks since I have been able to do skywatch Friday, between work and other commitments I just did not have the time to do it right, but this week I do. Click the photograph it gets much larger and reveals allot more detail. This photograph was taken along the turnagain arm in Alaska during our family vacation two years ago. What a beautiful place Alaska was, we spent almost a month traveling around in a rented camper. We would like to go back again sometime and do a cruise of the inner passage, to many places to see and to little time to do it all. Be sure and click the link to see great skies from all over the world. Thanks to the skywatch staff for putting together a great program.

This is so cool, in the literal sense of the word. I'm warm from walking the dogs and looking at this makes me both relaxed and cooler.

Breathtaking view, especially for a flatlander in Oklahoma. Thanks.

Oh, oh, oh... Can you top this? I think not. Gorgeous!

A Canes/Caps matchup would be cool... it would set up an All-Southeast conference Final, which might finally shut some people up.

For the moment though, I'm just worrying about Boston.

Hello there Brad
This is a delightful view you have for us all today...

It as been far to long since I have visited... like you other commitments have cut my visiting times down... I did however spend time and checked out you last few posting, I love the cowbird.. I do not recall having seen one before.

All the best to you Brad.. it was nice to be able to say hello again.

Breathtaking! I had a chance to go on an Alaskan cruise a few years ago, but I was not able to arrange the 2 weeks off when my friends were going. I certainly hope to make it one day!

This is my most favorite way to see Alaska - in beautiful photographs! Can you tell I am not one for the cold ;)

Anyhow happy SWF :)

Somehow it felt almost as home, but than we are at the same latitude and have similar terrain. However, I think we have a milder climate due to the Gulf-stream.

PS Thank you for the nice comment!
