Brown-headed Cowbird...

I did say last week that I would return to my feathered friends that I keep fat and safe in my yard. This bird is a Brown-headed Cowbird. I had not seen any in my yard until last Tuesday when two of them showed up under my hemlock tree. It was in the afternoon and the lighting was a little harsh but they were kind enough to give me a chance to get a few shots off before flying away.
