Yes More Elk

This photograph was taken September 23, 2006 in Yellowstone National Park. This large bull had hard a herd of cows he was courting during the rut. I don't know if he had much competition we only seen one other bull close by and that was a young male with spikes. We should have stopped and photographed him also just to make him feel better. He was always in the same area and alone, with nobody even stopping to look.
