Flying Ibis...

Before heading to Florida I went out numerous times to local lakes to practice panning flying birds. Unlike last year when I seen many flying birds and was not prepared for it missing many shots this year the flying birds opportunities were few and far between. I do not know if that is because I was there a month later, at the wrong locations or just out at the wrong time of day. I did get a few like this White Ibis captured at Viera wetlands. I will have more to post in the future including my best photos of the trip, an American Bittern flying with a frog in it's bill.

Please stop by Shane's blog for a new post today, I am hoping he will soon start posting some bird, planes or baseball photos from Florida soon.

Hi Brad,
Nice shots, and practice makes perfect... as they say. This kind of practice has the added benefit of being fun.

It was good meeting you last week down in Florida. I wanted to shoot you an email but could not find a link anywhere. When you get a spare minute, drop me a note. You can get my email from my blogger profile, or the front page of my main website.
