10 Point Close Up...

Not much to say again today other that WOW!, can you believe it is December already. At this time when everyone is to be happy and thinking of pleasant things I find myself only worrying about my future and the jobs of my fellow brothers in the HFD. I wish I could get it out of my head just for one day but I can't even get it out of my head for five minutes. This photo was taken during the whitetail rut in SNP in early November this year. He crossed the road in front of me and went down a hill into a thick area leaving me to photograph nothing but a close up.

Wow! what a great capture. I fear I would still be attempting to get my camera out of my bag.

well, you sure got a great shot of him & he's HANDSOME, too! WoW! he looks big for that rack, bigger than the deer around here... that's for sure!

I got a few shots of some eating berries on the side of the road a few weeks ago & they were SKIN & BONES - it was awful to see... =(

I enjoyed catching up on your blog, Brad. Beautiful photos as always. I think the big bull in Thursday's post is still with us, so seeing him next year is something to look forward to.

I hope things work out on the job. I have been reading some about the problems and I can see why you can't get the situation off of your mind.

Certainly a nice 10 pointer, with room to grow! Sorry to hear about your job as well as your whole department...These times we are in, it seems it's not getting better. Good luck Brad!

Nice looking buck Brad!

SNP certainly wasn't as good this year as it was in past years. Maybe next year there won't be so many acorns.
