Today's Sky Watch Friday post comes from Bristol Motor Speedway last fall. With the NASCAR season about to start I thought this might be a good time to put this photo up. If you have ever been to a race you know that fly overs by the military has become a regular occurrence.
Don't forget to click the sky watch link to the left to view other sky watch photos from around the world.

Flyovers are always incredible. Love the roar of those engines. They take your breath away. Super photograph. Thank you.

Great capture, love this pic of yours.
I'm trying to visit blogs that I haven't been to before. I love the pink color sneaking in at the bottom. Great shot. I also have a 13 y/o daughter who got her first digital camera last summer. Occasionally I will put one of hers up instead of mine.
Great shot! Whenever I see fighter jets in the sky I get goose bumbs because they are so mighty looking.

I just wandered in here looking for something else and as a guy who has shot the races at Bristol for a few years, let me say that you have some sweet images.
Nice work. Got any anything of the spring 2009 flyover with the P-47 and P-51?
