First Look At The New Bike...

I mentioned on a previous post that I was buying a bike. It is now a done deal. This week the bike arrived at Appalachian Harley Davidson and all the paper work was completed. This is the first look for everyone including my family. I had a HD for years, selling it after building our first house. Linda had promised me another one all these years and the time has finally arrived.

The bike is a 2011 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Lo, FLSTFB in Denim Black. It took the dealership a couple of weeks to find one and get it in and now there is prep work to be done before I take delivery of it. A detachable back rest and saddlebags will be installed before I get the bike. With the saddlebags being back ordered, the weather bad and my back acting up I decided to let it at the dealership until the work is completed. I should be taking delivery of the bike in less than two weeks.

I can't wait to get riding again and feel that sense of pride one gets when they cruise on a Harley. CLICK THE PHOTO'S FOR A MUCH LARGER VIEW.

Now how does that work. It was Linda's birthday and she buys you a bike. What did you buy her?

She got the gift that ever woman wants, ME!, LOL. I am glad she lost the reciept for me or I may have been returned years ago.

Beautiful bike--I bet it cost a lot more than a 600mmF4

Hi Brad,
Thank you for the comment you left on my blog post about Jasper's passing. I'm going to add myself as a follower of your blog. I'm sure that I will find lots to like about your blog. I'm leaving a comment on this particular post because my husband has a motorcycle as well, a Kawasaki Nomad. We enjoy riding. Looking forward to warmer weather so that we can go for a ride!

The bike won't keep me from retirement. I have a smart wife that controls the money. I also have more than enought years I am just 1 year, 9 month and 25 days short of the age. The bike should make it easier giving me something to relax with.
