Mallards In Flight...


More from my walk at Wildwood Lake last month. The mallards just didn't want to get close while flying but I wanted to practice photographing birds in flight so I fired away. I was more pleased with them than I was the geese photos I posted a few weeks ago.

    I really like the male mallard duck. the color of it's head and neck. The first shot is nice.

    I thinks the greenheads are the best of the ducks in photography. You must have a superfast shutter speed. Again, I don't know the right terminology. Left just early enough to miss the snowstorm. Home for holidays, Brad.
