Today’s photograph was taken at the same fire in Shippensburg as yesterdays and October 27, 2007 entry. In the photo three master streams can be seen playing onto the building one from a deluge gun off of Engine 252 and ladder pipes from Trucks 53 and 1.A multiple alarm fire occurred in the same buildings on August 31, 1988. That fire started in 16 East King Street and caused $200,000 in damages. There have been numerous other fires in at the same location dating back into the 1800’s. The buildings have since been torn down.
